From: "will stackman" <profwill66-AT-hotmail.com> Subject: PUPT: MaskPupt Date: Fri, 02 Feb 2001 18:30:08 -0500 For those who haven't already subscribed, Dave Riley's email list has been going over aspects of the mask/puppet question since last summer. Contact him at http://www.ozemail.com.au/~dhell/mask.htm to join the list. As Dr. John notes, the only practical way to distinguish between a mask or a puppet is how they are used. An actor behind a puppet may be treating it as a mask. An actor interacting with his mask may be treating it as an seperate object, possibly a puppet. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com --- Personal replies to: "will stackman" <profwill66-AT-hotmail.com> --- List replies to: puptcrit-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- Admin commands to: majordomo-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu --- Archives at: http://lists.village.virginia.edu/~spoons
