Subject: PUPT: Show for sale


  A friend from Miami Florida, Judy Werman, is retiring from her puppetry
business.  She has a number of complete shows for sale.  She was for many
years, the premere puppet company in the Miami area.  Most of her puppets
are soft-sculpture.  They include glove, rod, and mouth puppet.
  Of particular note is her "Dorothy's Trip".  This is an anti-drug show
that starts with a little girl, (who happens to be named Dorothy) flipping
through the channels on the TV. After seeing a few news reports reporting
that so-n-so has been arrested on drug charges, she decides to turn of the
TV and read her favorite book... Oz.  She falls asleep and awakes in Oz,
where she finds things a little different than the book.  The Scare Crow is
stuffed with pot, the Tin Man made from beer cans, and the Cowardly Lion is
adicted to crack.  Of course, they all hope the Wizard will solve their
problems for them.  The show was originally designed to be performed by two
performers, and includes all original music and voices on a performance tape.
  Here other shows include, "Chicken Little", "The Magic Onion", "The
Sourcer's Apprentice" and many other puppets as well. (I don't know if she
is actually selling all the shows I mentioned... but she has ALOT of puppets
and complete shows)
