Date: Fri, 01 Feb 2002 12:02:17 -0500 Subject: Re: PUPT: Toilet Paper Cores This may brand me as a real tyro, but as a relative newbie I've used cut-down TP tubes as the foundation for necks in paper mache puppet heads. They're OK when reinforced with a few layers of pasted paper, but not as sturdy as some other cardboard or plastic tubes I've used. I also seem to recall the Center for Puppetry Arts down here using them sometimes in their pre-show puppetmaking classes for kids. Not exactly performance-quality, I'm sure...
