There is nothing wrong with process. ;-)
I'm an art therapist & I have had clients create & destroy to help work out 
certain issues.  I've written about the aspects of eros & thanatos that come 
up during the birthing of puppets that I've seen clients go through.  I've 
recognized those energy forces myself - but I could never get myself to 
deliberately destroy a puppet or doll that I have successfully completed. But 
I have destroyed during a uncompleted process before the puppet comes to 
'life'.
