I know that this book had another formal name and I have been racking my brains as to what it was. There are courses on grant writing. When I was at the Yale School of Drama, all the people in the administration program had to take a year long course in grant writing. There are some nonprofit groups that help people obtain funding for projects. Educational funding is there, but can be elusive to find. You have to look at it on 3 levels local, state and federal. www.proposalwriter.com/grants.html has some good basic information on grant writing. There is even a "grant writing for dummies" book and other books on the subject. If you put the following search terms in Google (my favorite search engine) arts funding grant writing You will find a wealth of information that is a starting point for the wonderful world of grants. It took me almost a year once, but we got funding to do a puppet show for the summer for camps and other kids. We did it in conjunction with the local library and arts council. So there are opportunities out there. Kathleen O.
