Subject: PUPT: 2003 National Festival


The next national festival of The Puppeteers of America, Inc. will be 29
June thorugh 5 July, 2003 at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah,
OK.  The call for workshop presenters and performers will be sent out
during the summer of 2002.

We will be considering workshops from elementary to advanced levels and
give special attention to new areas and methods.  We will also have some
tried and true workshops from the past.  We are looking at how the past
informs the present.

For performances, we will be looking for all mediums.  We plan to
feature the "cutting edge" along side the "traditional."
