Yes Preston, It is new, the price in my catalogue is the publisher's recommended price $29.95 or =A320.50 hardbound (not $50 quoted by Stephen Kaplin.  It has only recently arrived and I have not ploughed through it yet but it obviously has more to do with the presence of the spiritual and supernatural in all forms of art including puppets.  There are several references to puppets five b/w pictures, but as Stephen says there are no puppeteers listed in index unless you count G K Chesterton who played and wrote about Toy Theatres.
