Date: Fri, 19 Apr 2002 08:21:58 -0700 Subject: RE: PUPT: Mascots Dear Kathleen, I would suggest trying to sculpt the head out of a styrofoam block (if you can't find one you can always glue together a stack of thick styrofoam sheets to make one). The sculpted head can then be covered in fabric or fur. I used to know an artist who made heads like this to support himself and he did fabulous work using this method.
