Subject: PUPT: Puppet scene etc. in New Jersey & Boston

Greetings...
you've heard me kvetch about my situation in Colorado (and living in a small town) for the past year or so...
Anyway, my other half & I decided to come to the decision that it's just not working out here for various reasons. We're going to make the best of this situation for the next year or so & mainly focus on enjoying the nature here.

We're considering relocating to New Jersey or Boston area (because of our careers). I know there are quite a few puppeteers here on this list from both places. I don't want to make the same mistake & want to plan potential relocation & considerations far in advance. (although I work on my planning for almost 10 months & that helped me diddley squat)
Things I want to consider:
-availability to see experimental puppetry & quality puppet theatre
-various cultural activities: quality museums, performance art, off-off broadway, modern dance, galleries, book readings! (how I miss those!!)
-creative career opportunities in: art therapy, mental health, special education, art education, puppetry, the arts, etc. These positions should pay hourly wage or salary, not pro bono. I don't do pro bono.
-career advancement, training opportunities in puppetry & art therapy.

Thanks!

Wayong
