Total number of sides, when the apexes are drawn to a point is TEN. When the figure expands (or sqats) and the centers are no longer closed, the space between the triangles is not a plane, and cannot be counted....so there are still TEN flat surfaces. With Bill's permission, I have been working this marionette figure for over 20 years! I can do it in my sleep.
