Puppeteer Carl Weiting in Boston has played a musical saw in the 
past.  Also, I remember seeing a musical saw which was specifically 
manufactured as such, i.e., it wasn't simply a "real" saw being used as an 
instrument.  I've watched people playing the saw before, and the trick 
seems to be the way you keep the bend in the blade, and making sure there 
is enough rosin on the fiddle bow.
