Subject: PUPT: Saws-all


Thanks everyone for the incredible outburst of wisdom on the subject of
musical saws. Just minutes after posting that email, I found my way to the
wentworth/musicsaw websit, so I think I have all my questions answered.
Luckily, for my neighbors, I am not the one that is going to be playing
(merely the one plying the credit card.) The player is a traditional
Chinese erhu (two-stringed fiddle) player. I wonder if there is any
correlation between the tones you get on a musical saw and the tones of a
Chinese folk musical scale?  I don't suppose there's a website that answers
that one.
