For me part of the delight I find in writing for
puppets is that, while there are many constraints for
the puppet, there are equally as many if not more
freedoms. I can write about flying, monsters and
enigmatic trees without having to make all the good
stuff happen off stage. for me the difference is that
puppets can do more than human actors and as a puppet
writer and maker I can  write for a world that is
entirely in my hands to create. so there is no
contradiction between what happens on stage and the
puppet bodies that show that action.
