Subject: PUPT: re musical saw

Hi Stephen.

Michael Cotter forwarded your query.

My wife Joanne Flynn/The Queen of Whimsey,
plays the saw.

She uses a Muselle Westfahl saw. and yes,
it is specifically for musical saw, made of spring steel
and longer than normal. It is mentioned on this web page.

Call at 301-888-1281 and ask for Joanne if you
want to chat about it!

Cheers,

wondering if anyone out there has experience on this esoteric subject. I

would like to know if there is are certain brands that are better than
others. Are there any manufacturers or secret sources of specifically
"musical" (as opposed to "rip," "mitre" or "crosscut") saws?

Any helpful leads will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
