Definitely pays to be in an area rich in puppety opportunities. Do a lot of
those day players go from show to show? I suppose you really get to know the
community after a while, very nice. Theater's a little like that too. You'll
often end up running in to people you've worked with a few years ago in
another state. There's a tendency to hang out together at bars to stay
connected. I haven't  "cruised the bars" myself, as my fellow thespians call
it, as I'm not a big drinker. I imagine puppeteers wouldn't be as prone to
the bar scene. So where do you hang out, the zoo? Maybe fabric stores. . .
