Fred replies:

I am more than a little seasoned but never heard of this Connecticut law 
until Chris mentioned it. I'll do some digging. 

At the risk of offending some fellow puppeteers, I am foolish enough to 
declare that SOME puppetry is STILL a crime.  And it has nothing to do with 
this law. We've all seen examples of it.  I know: it's all very subjective.
