Actually on public access with a late night slot. At the time it was 2 guys with sock puppets with little to no backdrop. I never anticipated seeing it on primetime! I wished I caught more episodes... Unfortunately, if it ends up being cancelled, it won't be a first. I was disappointed when TV Funhouse was cancelled (ok I have a sick sense of humour). Petitions got Invader Zim (Vasquez - animations) back on & external pressures forced the makers of Max Headroom to 'dumb it down for American audiences'. I was a kid when I saw the English version & had no problem following it. Go figure. I wouldn't be surprised if the religious unright have been in an uproar to make changes & cancel certain shows with 'questionable material'. There is an easy solution to this problem of sex & violence on TV: turn it off & do something else! I've never understood why people don't get this basic concept. Actually, I guess I do -- They think they're protecting us fools and innocents. When people complain about books or videos in the library I just want to say, "You don't have to check it out!" But I guess this is really a discussion for another list . . .
