Subject: Re: PUPT: Re: Re: Sound Systems Date: Tue, 25 Jun 2002 08:34:47 -0400 This is a multi-part message in MIME format. Well... you would ask before my second cup of coffee... Puppet Productions out of Texas carries them at a VERY reasonable price. Ours is the 250 watt system; there is also a 125 watt system for less, but we felt the 250 was a better value. It comes with two mics, has 4 mic plug ins and two stereo inputs (like Heidi mentioned), has reverb along with the usual adjustments, a really nice MC feature that cuts the lead mic in over background music without having to cut the music or try to balance the sound. The speakers attach to the main unit for hauling, there's a nice storage compartment on the back of the main unit for all of the cords and mics and it weighs 53 lbs. There's a heavy duty cover included and a carrying handle on top. When it's all put together for traveling, there are NO exposed knobs, dials or speaker covers. Everything is safely tucked away on the inside. That's one big plus for us. Oh, and the speakers can be put up on speaker stands (there are holes in the bottom of each one for this). Check the unit out at www.puppetproductions.com . They put the systems on sale at least twice each year for under $700. Darlys
