I believe that Frank's "Sesame Street" characters have been recast. There
seems to be debate about whether or not this is a permanent or temporary
measure but it is likely due to his hectic schedule not making him as
available as the folks at Sesame Workshop might like. I do not recall the
name of the puppeteer that is taking over many of his characters, but there
is more information on this topic on the www.muppetcentral.com discussion
board.

There also have been rumours that he didn't do Miss Piggy on the last Muppet
movie either, but I don't believe that because I have seen photos of Frank
working on the set.

Also worth noting is that Sesame Street is also (apparently) being prepared
for the day when Carrol Spinney is no longer able to perform Big Bird.
Although Carrol has indicated that he intends to perform Big Bird as long as
he is physically able, another puppeteer has been slowly taking over some of
the performing.
