Yoda 3" Light saber 4-5' When I worked at Lucas Arts this was a large issue for putting him a video game. We wanted to put him in several times, but could not think of a good way to do it. But, as we see George found away with movie magic. There is a lot of illusion going on there to fool the eye. Which if Yoda where a puppet, I am not sure could have been done? As far as animators using there hands animate a CG character, in the shop I work in, some of the animators use a sock puppet to act out some scenes to help get the line of motion for emotion down. I think the two arts will be forever embed in each other. Bill Bill --part1_7a.28186b62.2a36f0c2_boundary
