To all who are plagued by cell phones during performances, a bit of morose
encouragement:  I
don't think the discourteous users of cell phones have it in for
puppetry. They give offense just about anywhere.  My boss told me recently
that she was at mass, and a parishoner
received and responded to a cell phone call right in the middle of the
Holy Eucharist, for Pete's sake.
These people have no shame.
There now, doesn't that make you feel a whole lot better?
