She was attacked once by teens and would have been seriously hurt were it not for fast-acting security guard. To this day she doesn't like to wear purple (true story). I've heard similar stories from friends who do many of the "live" versions of popular children's TV shows. A puppeteer I know in NY is regularly "attacked" by children hopped up on sugar and happy meals at his mall shows.
