some favorites...

-two layers of clear contact paper with threads and sequins/glitter 
sandwiched between
-assorted rice papers coated with white glue. Sobo is more flexible, 
Elmers is stiffer...and clear acrylic varnish or medium are both 
shinier and more clear.
-assorted nylon or silk organza and laces...coated with white glue.( 
if you do this on polyethelene plastic, the wing will peel right off 
when it's dry.)
