We were having a similar sweaty hand problem. I finally picked up a
pair of 95% cotton 5% spandex (Hand smoothing) gloves at Walmart in
the Beauty area.  The gloves have enough cotton in them, that our 
performer actually said it was more comfy for them.  Added bonus,
it also seems to grip the leather grip that we are using.

Hope this helps. (Maybe as part of the rental)  I think I paid $3.50 for
the pair, so $1.75 per rental.
