As I see it you are using the lower leg of the tights as the sleeve that goes inside the body of the puppet and into the head. The foot portion is then attached to the inner mouth. How are you attaching it? Glue? Sewing? Does it matter what the tights are made of: 100% cotton, lycra, spandex, combo? I imagine ones with at least some cotton and medium to heavy weight would work best, but if you've already experimented no point in me reinventing the wheel. Thanks for your suggestion.
