When I first moved to this area about 7 years ago, I started asking other 
puppeteers from our guild what they were charging.  I did not want to 
under-cut any of the performers I knew.  As it turned out, I had to bring 
down my price from what I was getting in NYC.

As for my big show, many moons ago I had an agent booking my show.  After 
he and I had a parting of the ways, I just changed what he was 
charging.  (I figured if he could get that price for me, so could I.)

Workshop price came up the same amount for a performance.
