Burr Tillstrom (19 at the time) was one of the puppeteers. The Puppeteers of America has published a reprint of the Conference program, which includes production information about the Stein/Vestal play as well as a very intriguing photograph of it. The volume of correspondence between Gertrude Stein and Thornton Wilder includes several letters referring to the puppet play.
