I attended a Festival in San Francisco a number of years ago. One of the workshops featured Sulpt or Coat. I am now able to bring this into Canada and have been using it. One of the bits of information at the workshop was constructing hands using wooden "Dixie Cup" spoons. One end of the spoon had the puppet hand on it and the other end was used by the inserted finger to manipulate the puppet hand. I have constructed hands directly onto the "handle" end of the wooden spoon using cardboard, wire, tape, foam and sulpt or coat. What I need to know is...how does one secure the "spoon" end into the puppet sleeve so that the finger is able to manipulate without moving all over the inside of the sleeve. Thanks to Jim and others who gave advice that helped me with the last project. The resulting puppets were a pleasure to use.
