Subject: PUPT: berber


the local Hancock Fabrics can't order specifically certain types of berber. The local Joanne's fabrics has a limited selection.  I was wondering if anyone has any good resources on berber. I'm interested in all types -thick felty, nappy, but especially  thick, pseudo-velvety type that stays, not flops when you shape it for costumes or puppets. I'm also interested in the short nap fur type berber in designs & solids.

I'm especially looking for more greyish colours that have a tint of another color (blue, red, green, purple).

Also, if anyone has good resources on fabric stores & art supply stores near Boston, let me know.
