Also concerning age apropriateness
Often I have found that when parents say their child is too old at age 7 for 
puppets, that it has a lot to do with their past experience.  What had they 
seen?  So I remind them that there is a very wide range of puppetry out 
there.  Some is great for 3 or 4 yrs - and some much better for age  9 or 10 
and some better for adults..... Unfortunately I have seen some things billed 
for ages 6 and up that was clearly way "under the heads" of that age group. - 
so to speak....so those parents walk out saying their child was too old - 
(which they , in fact, were for that particular show)
