Here's one way to display shadow puppets and still have instant access
to them. Start with 3/4"x 1" (actual dimension) lumber and cut whatever
lengths are needed to be screwed to the wall horizontally underneath
each puppet. Before you attach each piece to the wall, drill holes in
the top (3/4") surface, but not all the way through, to receive each of
the rods for that puppet. You can also mount some screw-eyes about 4-6"
above the wood as extra support for the puppet rods. You then slip the
puppet rods down into this "mounting" from above - and slip it up and
out when you need it. HTH!
