I don't know if this is what was listed before, but I've had some good
luck with Sullivan products  Gold-N-Rod, cable comes with a clevises.

It is a flexible cable that comes in a variety of gauges and lengths and
is generally packaged with a plastic sheath.  It is used for Model
airplanes and cars.  Available in hobby shops.
