Lycopodium, as far as I know, is spores from club moss.  These are so fine 
that a "mist" of them will burn in air at a very low temperature.  Chris 
Hudert is right that the most likely suppliers are scientific supply 
services.  Old time magic stores used to carry this effect.  Rosin burns 
brighter, hotter, and has a more interesting smell.  If you live near a pine 
forest where this moss grows, it's not that hard to collect spores.  Dry 
pores from other moss and probably fern might work as well.  Almost any 
powder will "explode" in a flame; it's a matter of risk assesment.  
Experiment outdoors and have an extinguisher handy.
