Subject: PUPT: Re: Tales From the Bayou

Well, I get to toot our own horn a bit. And hopefully pursued a few
of our local puppeteers who aren't booked to come to our final show of
"Tales from the Bayou" . Tonight.

We have had two small houses, but both were very enthusiastic. Last
night I was really feeling proud when we completed our production.
Before the show started I had been talking with one of the audience
member who said he wasn't really sure why he was there, he had never
seen any puppet shows although he really loved the "Real" theatre. I
cringed to myself, but assured him that he was in for a treat.

When the show was done, that same gentleman came up to me and said that
he would not miss any of our up coming performances at the Lion Theatre.
He had been so impressed with the quality of the show and I quote "
Puppetry really was theatre, wasn't it". Yee Ha. We were also very
enthusiastic, when several others in the audience who where patrons of
the Lion Theatre asked to be put on our mailing list.

As I said not a large house, but a truly appreciative one.
Hope to see many of you this evening for a good time and a good laugh.

Best,

Liz
