Subject: PUPT: Winnie Wilson Passing

I am saddened to learn of Winnie Wilson's passing. She joined the Puppetry
Guild of Greater New York when it first started. The following message was
sent to me from Bill Harper.

Steve Widerman:
Please report to PGOGNY members about the passing of Winnie Wilson. She died
on August 14th in St. Albans (Queens), NY. 1925 - 2002

For over thirty years Winnie's marionettes provided entertainment for
audiences that included all age groups at locations in schools, libraries,
and community centers. She gave most of her shows in the Queens area of NYC
and gave an occasional performance at the PGOGNY meeting place in the 1970's.
She knew Lenny Suib and Rod Young.

She was assisted in her performances by her husband; Donald, Daughter; Donna
and son; Mark. She was born in Brooklyn. Her goal was to bring "Joy and
Laughter" to her audiences.
