Subject: PUPT: hello, too

Hi, I, too, have just joined the list as a green, amateur puppet
aficionado. I have dabbled some in making puppets and have put on a few
shows for Sunday school classes, but I want to do more, lots more in
puppets. I am starting a 4H project in puppet making/puppeteering. As
reference I am using a library book I found called "Making Puppets Come
Alive".
I'd like to become aware of more in the puppet community, and in general,
what's out there for construction and performance. I am glad to read there
is an active group in San Francisco, though that is a little far to go
except for a special occasion.
I am glad to be on this list, and look forward to getting help, and maybe
someday being able to give it.
Carolyn F.
