Hi Peter,

Your best bet for finding the designs you are looking for is trying to get hold of one of the following books (or if possible all three!)

"Specialised Puppetry" by H W Whanslaw

"Puppet Circus" by Peter Fraser

Or the Reprint of the Nelson and Hayes book "Trick Marionettes". This was reprinted by the PofA in 1988.

Unfortunately these books are out of print, however you could probably locate at least one of them by contacting Ray DaSilva via his site www.puppetbooks.co.uk I'm sure Ray will be able to advise you further if he doesn't have any of them available currently.

Hope that Helps.

  Hi all,
I don't know if this is just me or what, I can't seem to find many resources on the construction of trick marionettes. Does anyone know where I could purchase these or find them on the web or anythin. The diagrams I am looking for are for the Grand Turk, Juggler, One man Trapeze and also a daigram showing how to construct the puppet so that it can remove a skirt.
                                                  Peter
                                               Entanglment
