The best book fotr this is "Puppet Circus" by Pedter Fraser. Also Peter Fraser's "introduction to Puppetry" and David Currels "The Complete book of Puppetry" These are all out of print but can be foundon Ebay at times. There are a number of used book sites on the net where you can find these. I would start with Ray Dasilva's site in the UK at http://www.puppetbooks.co.uk/ then try alibris and do a search for these book. http://www.alibris.com/home.cfm

I am working on a E-book version of the Nelson and Hayes book "Trick Marionettes" it should be available in about a week depends on timne I have to work on it and finish it.

Yoiu can find more resources on my web site www.stringpuppet.com check out my free for all links page where you can find over 100 links to puppet related sites. I do sell the kinds of marionettes yoju are looking for on this site as well. If you have any other questions I will be happy to help in any way I can.

Hi all,
I don't know if this is just me or what, I can't seem to find many resources on the construction of trick marionettes. Does anyone know where I could purchase these or find them on the web or anythin. The diagrams I am looking for are for the Grand Turk, Juggler, One man Trapeze and also a daigram showing how to construct the puppet so that it can remove a skirt.
