I have been giggling about that disaster story ever since your first post. However I was visualizing you in a 10-foot tall puppet booth on a 10-foot high tower in the middle of the gym. Assessable only by an extension ladder? ( Think Rapunzel ) Of course the principal had it built especially for you according to the dimensions specified on your contract: 10' X 10' X 10'. The reason that he was so insistent that you perform on this shaky, dangerous pedestal was to justify its building...Therefore verifying that the performance tower was a result of your unreasonable demands not his foolishness. It is still a great story. Just not so stoooopid!
