It's pretty hard to find good water buffalo horn in this country. I
suggest, (unless you happen to live near a long horn steer ranch) that she
use metal rods, (even wire coathangers work, if the figures are small and
light) or thin  cut strips of 1/8 polycarbonate (aka: Lexan, which is an
unbreakable transparent plastic.)
