We don't have any such stories, but we stil use the half incinerated puppet stage proscenium from when our lighting designer tried to burn down the recently renovated legendary La MaMa Annex in NYC at 3 am (ough, what an Eastern-European runaway sentence). We filled in the missing parts with blank canvas like a pottery piece put together from shards found in an archaeological dig. Vit Horejs P.S.: Thanks to everybody for their contributions about flash powders and concoctions, yes, lycopodium is indeed what the old timers used to use. I'd be very suprised if it is genuine lycopodium in today's Dragon Breath but who knows... It's been disappearing and expensive, but a few variety and magic stores here in NYC still carry it. And yes, powdered rosin, the same as used for pool cue tips and violin bows and possibly the gymnasts hands, is what they use in the old Czecho now. The thing is, they won't tell you where they get it. Now who knows what the love potion is made from? I am sure few of you will actually point out to your sites that offer it for sale. We sell only snake oil, but it's a great item to raise funds for non-profits; inquire about our family size package. P.S. P.S.: WHo can tell it's deadline time tonight, application post office stamped by midnight acceptable? I am almost half-way there.
