Hi 
Interesting about the Disney -made puppets... as Michael described.  I 
auditoned a couple years ago for a puppet part in a kids show at a local TV 
station. The puppet was the moving mouth sort but I found it very heavy and 
nearly impossible to move very much. I pointed that out to the "auditioners" 
that it might need a little "fine tuning" and they said proudly "But it was 
made by Disney!!" -as if to say you can't improve on that!! - so I asked if 
it were possible that the "puppet makers" at Disney were puppeteers.  
(probably not) Anyway, I sure was relieved when some guy (Wayne Martin 
Puppets (I think) - here in Boston got the job -and not me!
