Subject: Re: PUPT: that marionette holder thing



I decided to look through my marionette books, I think I found where it 
comes from.  The one place I found a reference to it was in Bruce Taylor's 
book, "Marionette Magic."  (pages 67- 68)  He describes a crutch control as 
an up-right control made from dowels, as opposed to an airplane control 
which is held horizontally.
