One of the best sources I have found on doing this is the book "Figure Making Can Be Fun" While it was written for ventriloquist wanting to make their own ventriloquist figures it can be applied to marionette making as well. I offer this book on my Puppet Books site at http://www.puppetbooks.com/#feature Cost is 34.95 plus $5.00 for shipping.

  To All,
I am designing my next marionette for a production and want to now add a movable mouth to the figure. However, I have seen many figures where the mouth has a gap and this is something I do not want on my figure. Is there any tips for the cut lines? Or a special way to design the mouth? Any help would be great
