But I seem to recall handling one glove puppet, which had a slightly cone-shaped neck. I now realize that this may help the puppet fit to different sized fingers. A smaller finger just goes into the cone deeper. I think it may also be good for the cone to be somewhat flatted so that two fingers can go in side-by side. I know that gives greater control, but may also allow for someone with very large fingers to have the option of using only one finger in that same hole.
