What Joe H. is  looking for is extruded square tubing.  Getting it depends 
on where you are in the country.  Finding materials like this is best done 
by using Advanced Search on Google.  Entering "square aluminum tubing" 
yields several pages; "search within" for manufacturers and/or distributors 
will  find something for most every part of the country.  Several firms 
appear to be ready to take orders and ship over the Internet.  Even for 
light-weight materials closer sources cost less to ship.  So do a search 
before posting a general request, then check out possible distributors to 
see if anyone has dealt with them.
