Hi everyone,

If you have the time and inclination, please join Bali & Beyond

WHERE:  Craft and Folk Art Museum
        5814 Wilshire Boulevard
        (across the street from the Tar Pits)

WHEN:   THIS Saturday, May 17th
        12-2pm (workshop at noon)

We begin at noon with the Making Shadow Characters Workshop, where you
can make a simplified small scale Balinese character.

During a short break, you'll have time to walk through the museum and
see the dazzling installation of over 120 puppets from around the world.
The exhibition draws from collections of numerous museums, artists, film
studios, and connoisseurs.

At about 1:15 we'll continue with the Shadow Theater of Bali informance
where you can see shadow play and learn about the elements that bring
this ancient form of screen entertainment to life!
