The Charleville festival is, last I knew, the largest puppet festival in the
world.  It happens every three years.  It's this September.

When I performed there in 1994, there were over 600 companies doing over a
1000 performances in 10 days.  That doesn't count the off-festival, street
performances, and people who showed up on their own.
