so-- how do I get from the restaurant to the bridge FULL TIME?
in practical terms?

I can't sink $10,000 into the next production (at $400 a show that would be
25 shows before I begin to break even) Mrs. Youngdahl is going to get
AWFULLY HUNGRY! There should be SOMEthing I can do to build toward that.

Liz Evans says
"we have started producing some shows that we originally did not plan to
produce, but we are finding ways to present them in a new way"

I truly appreciate that but, it's a little vague. What does it really
take. What is obvious to you might be a revelation to me. (no snide
remarks please)

WHAT has already worked BEST? THAT's the kind of practical nuts and bolts
that I wish I knew.
Endowments for the Arts are NOT increasing, so-- I would like to read "How
To Really Make A Living As A Marionettist"

Do you have that one in stock, Mr. DaSilva?

I'm not kidding. I'm asking for the BEST most PRACTICAL and CONCRETE idea
that you (all you-all) have found that has ACTUALLY produced the best for
you. What are the stepping stones?

can you share THAT?
dave

PS initial posting should have read "not done anything SUSTAINABLE" or
something like that. the intent was to generate LIGHT as opposed to HEAT.
pardon.
