You're so right. And I've been so wrong. I've seen the light. Let's do away with all off-broadway, fringe, and experimental theatre that doesn't make any money. Not to mention experimental films and documentaries, they never make any money. While we're at it, let's get rid of opera, ballet, and orchestras. None of them are surviving off ticket sales. And museums and zoos, the gate's not paying all of their costs, either. And that Van Gogh, what a hack! Never sold a painting in his lifetime. Let's all cater to the lowest common denominator all the time in order to make the most amount of money. To heck with "art" and, god forbid, "fun". And while we're at it, I have a few recipes for serving up poor children as entrees for the dinner table, to get rid of that problem as well.
